Why we built Steadwatch.

Steadwatch grew out of our work managing business websites on WordPress. Hosting, software updates, accessibility, privacy and publishing all needed ongoing attention. We wanted a service that brought those responsibilities together and kept a useful record of the work.

The platform runs checks when a site changes and records the results. Public pages are delivered as static files, while a separate platform manages publishing and operational services.

Clients can request changes, review a private preview and approve publication. Monthly reporting shows the checks, findings and activity for their site.

What the service covers.

We provide website operations, testing, maintenance and records. Automated accessibility checks are supported by quarterly manual review. Legal advice and decisions about the laws that apply to your business remain with your advisers.

We address accessibility in the site and its components rather than relying on an accessibility overlay.
